Registration:
This portal supports self registration. You can click on "login" link (top-right corner) and the "Create new account" tab to register yourself. A link to confirm your email will be send from the address icme@wmail.iitm.ac.in. Once you confirm, you can set your password and login to this portal. Please watch out your spam folder for mails with this address, just in case. You can also use the "Reset your password" tab anytime later if required.
Data capture:
All the data being captured through this portal is available to all the participants freely. The information is secured behind the login wall and https. Most of the features are self-service and can be used by logged-in users directly. This data will be mapped over to a knowledge graph shortly and will be shared across to all the participants.
Why participate?
This data will be used to project a more accurate picture on the research capability in different application domains and tools towards the realization of ICME in the country. As a participant, since you have access to all the data all the time. You could use this portal to connect with other researchers in the country. This portal for data capture is intended to be a continous process.
Future plans
We intend to link this portal with the Vidwan portal shortly. It will help in linking with the information already there and also to help grow the knowledge graph as the information keeps flowing in.
